Meet A Contributor: Kerece Aziz

Born in the twin island state of Trinidad and Tobago (particularly Trinidad). She grew up in a household of six, which includes her mother, father and three elder siblings. Being the last child doesn’t mean she’s spoiled or pampered, but maybe just loved the most.

From a young age I’ve always had a connection with writing. I felt as though the pens and pencils were magical mediums that I could ask anything and they would write me the answer. Hence I was either always reading, writing or drawing a story and their characters.

By age 15 I had already completed my 3-part series called Black Chancery which is like a teenage romance, mystery and fiction. I also have a number of other works based on various theories and life perceptions.

I met my soulmate at age 17 and have been married for the past 9 years. This journey also inspired my second book (which I haven’t decided on a name yet) but it builds around the idea of a modest independent woman falling in love with the perfect, but gay guy.

Presently I’m doing a great deal of personal development and I honestly think I’ll have some future great writes.
