Before you start any project, you must at least have a plan. Finding a good medium to host this crucial information. Sometimes, the medium we feel most comfortable with is not as appropriate as we need it to be.
All notes or planning come in two forms: static and dynamic.
Static Information
Static information is fixed. This means that it is permanent or will encounter small changes. In management, this applied to anything based in fact. If you are documenting standard procedures , then it could be fixed information.
If these plans are permanent, then you need a safe place to keep this information stored. Permanent plans are usually the most vital (and should be the most protected.) Written notes and plans are still en vogue fro those who are a little more old fashioned. However, even if there are revisions, you will always have a written copy of the previous notes.
Dynamic Information
Dynamic information is malleable. This is usually the bulk of planning that we do for day-to-day operations. Bulk content like social media posts, blogs and periodic articles all fall into this category. In a quick-paced world, it is best to keep these records digitally.
This means that they can be accessed anywhere, which is important if you have a team or if you work remotely. Things move more quickly now than it ever did before, so being able to make new addition when necessary is important. This is why a digital host is preferred.
Now that you can divide your plans into two sections, you can decide on which media you would attribute to each category. Be sure to keep ease-of-use and efficiency in mind before you make any adjustments.
