Where do you go on the internet to share your business? Wherever it is, it should be done appropriately and respectfully. Not only should it be well-placed, it should follow a few guidelines to attract customers and build your business profile without compromise.
Get involved with your community.
You won’t get results if you stick to one side of a platform. Get involved with community members and engage meaningfully. Commenting random emojis is not a great way to communicate. Before you introduce your business abruptly, get immersed with what is being shared.
Find relevant threads.
If you aren’t aligned with the values and content being shared, then you run the risk of being labelled as spam. No one wants their content and their business associated with spam. This could hamper your growth more than you think. Look for threads that are fitting.
Create your own space.
If you can’t seem to fit yourself anywhere, then create your own little corner on a platform. Of course, you are solely in charge of maintaining it, but you will have full reign. This is is great way to get others engaged in what you do so you could address that directly. This comes in different forms; a page, a group, or a thread.
